In the Tokyo Motor Show 2011 event in Japan, Volkswagen SUV shows the future concept that have been tailored to wishes of compact SUV lovers who like adventure. The car is called Volkswagen Cross Coupe.
Uniquely Volkswagen Cross Coupe are driven with 3 machines at once. First a conventional machine that is the pride of Volkswagen TSI turbo-powered 110 kW which reportedly could catapult 210 Nm of torque, and 2-power 40 kW electric motor capable of spitting out 180 Nm of torque. Conventional engine is equipped with 7-speed automatic Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG).
The second electric motor that works in unison moving the front and rear wheels independently. While conventional engines drive all four wheels so that the rotation produced larger, and has a top speed of 201 km/hour. While the battery on the Coupe this one claimed to be able to walk up to a distance of 40 Km through power of a conventional engine. Fun cars take just 2.7 liters per 100 km.
