Ferrari marked the end of Ferrari 599 production with the 599XX Evolution. The new Evolution package offers improved aerodynamics, and a boost in power, Evolution 599XX will be available to clients participating in track-based research and development program for 2012-2013 season.
Ferrari 599XX Evolution
The evolution of new 599XX improved dynamics chassis features thanks to an active aerodynamics package integrated with the vehicle electronic systems’ control and the adoption of the new Pirelli tires. The new aero package using an active rear wing which has two flaps, with a profile similar to that used in Formula 1, the electronic spin to set the downforce between the front and rear axles in the function of vehicle speed and maneuvers performed.
The most impressive feature, however, is the addition of an additional 50 HP for the 6.3L V12 engine that Ferrari 599XX Evolution. This addition brings the total power to 750 HP 599XX at 7000 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque. Assisting with the machine is 77 pounds weight reduction compared to the standard model.
